My current practice centres on fused glass panels. I work with glass developed specifically for kiln-firing, cutting shapes and combining them with rods and fragments to create compositions.
I draw directly onto the glass surface before firing using heat-resistant markers and glass powder paints. This approach allows me to fuse drawings onto glass.
The assembled work undergoes multiple firings in the kiln at approximately 800 degrees Celsius. During this process, the separate glass elements and drawn marks melt and fuse into a single panel. Each piece reflects both planned composition and the material's inherent response to heat.
