In April, Giorgia came to visit: born in Flanders, she moved to California and now lives in the mountains of Greece, a psychologist, poet and lately also a visual artist. Rik and I invited her into the studio to work together.

We made two paintings in fierce colours, a pastel on sandpaper and a long run of pastels on tinted paper. To finish, two more in acrylic on photo paper. An exhausting day, and a good one.
