Cabo Mondego Section in Amsterdam

The Cabo Mondego Section of Portuguese Surrealism gathered in Amsterdam for a concert by guitarist Marc Ribot and his quartet Hurry Red Telephone at the Bimhuis. Afterwards Miguel de Carvalho, Rik Lina, David Coulter and I walked to my studio, where we worked together until half past two in the morning. Fourteen pastel drawings emerged that night, made to the accompaniment of strange, rhythmic music.
